23 localities in Sabah under EMCO starting Aug 25

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 23 localities in Sabah will be placed under a 14-day enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting this Wednesday (August 25).
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said in Kota Kinabalu, the localities involved are Kampung Cenderamata 2 and Kg Cempaka Likas, Kampung Inanam Laut, Kampung Bambangan, Inanam, Kampung Keliangau, Kampung Lapasan and Taman Kuala Menggatal.
“As for Penampang, the localities that will be placed under EMCO are Delta Height, Kampung Sindaanan, Rain Field Garden, and Maju Kota Lights Industri, Jalan Penampang Lama
“In Tawau, the localities involved are Kampung Tanjung Batu Tengah, Taman Ranggu Saujana, Kampung Sungai Tamang, Pulau Sebatik and Tanjung Batu Laut, Logpon,” he said in a statement today.
Masidi stated three more localities in Kinabatangan will also be placed under EMCO, namely, Kampung Pelangi, Kampung Sri Manis and Ladang Sungai Pin.
Other localities that will be placed under EMCO are Perumahan Ladang Sahabat 55 and Taman Perumahan Satu in Lahad Datu, Taman Limawan, Kinarut and Kampung Mondikot in Papar.
Meanwhile, Ladang Mawang in Kalabakan, as well asKem Saw Mill Mengayam Sri Arjuna in Sipitang, will also be placed under EMCO.
