27 localities in Sabah under EMCO starting July 29

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 27 localities involving four districts in Sabah will be placed under a 14-day enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting July 29.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said Penampang recorded the highest number of localities involved.

“The localities are Country Height Phase 1, Cyber City Phase 1, Kampung Nabangkung, Kampung Ramayah, Taman Vista Kiranau, Kampung Sarapung Kolopis, Vista Minintod and Kampung Tuunon.

In Beaufort, the localities that will be placed under EMCO are Kampung Lumadan, Kampung Kebulu Petani, Kampung Beaufort Selatan and Taman Arjuna.

Meanwhile in Tawau, the localities involved are Kampung Blok 31, Kampung Tanjung Batu Darat, and Kampung Darat Inderasabah.

As for Kinabatangan, the locality involved is Perumahan Ladang Tinabau.

EMCO implementation on all of these localities is scheduled to be lifted up on Aug 11.
