PENAMPANG: The Moyog Penampang Community Welfare Association delivered assistance to flood victims around this district yesterday.

Led by its chairman, Billy Jinawat, the group first collected food baskets from Jintian Market in Penampang. They then proceeded to Donggongon Square, where they collected more items to those in need.

They gathered at KFC Donggongon Penampang, joined by Lim Kok Fung, the General Manager of KFC East Malaysia, along with staff from QSR Stores SDN BHD's Sabah branch before starting their mission.

Their first stop was to assist flood victim Delbolerna Eugine from Kg Kibabaig, who is also a KFC employee. She received a food basket to help her during this difficult time.

After the presentation in Kg Kibabaig, the group proceeded to a village in Kiranau, where they met Varonica Victor Ludtuk. Varonica received a refrigerator, a much-needed item for her home, as her old fridge had been destroyed by the flood.

Billy noted that they also assisted another flood victim, Riga Lengean, by providing her with a washing machine, as hers had been severely damaged.

Billy mentioned that they plan to continue their distribution of assistance on August 31.

This initiative u the association's commitment to supporting the local community and providing aid to individuals facing challenging circumstances.
