KENINGAU: Residents of Kampung Tigot, Apin-Apin are now enjoying a new public facility following the completion of a bus stop shelter, built for the benefit of the local community, especially school students who rely on public transport daily.
The facility was constructed through a special allocation by the State Assemblyman for Bingkor Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin, as part of his ongoing commitment to improving basic infrastructure in rural areas.
This bus shelter not only provides a comfortable place for residents to take cover, but also stands as a symbol of concern for the well-being of the grassroots community.
According to Robert, the construction of the shelter is part of an inclusive development approach that prioritises the daily needs of the people, in line with the aspirations of “Bingkor Developing with the People.”
He also urged that the facility be well cared for and used responsibly for the shared benefit of all.
The shelter is expected to bring much-needed comfort to students who previously had to wait for their school bus by the roadside without any shelter, thereby enhancing both their safety and comfort.

Great initiative! Projects like this show how bus shelter advertising can also support community needs while offering excellent visibility for brands.
