CNY a time to strengthen friendship

PENAMPANG: During the Chinese New Year celebration, fostering friendship and strengthening support for each other, especially during open houses, is a significant tradition.

Carl Mosoom, the Political Secretary to the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative (MEDC), Datuk Ewon Benedick, recently attended such a gathering hosted by former Member of Parliament Datuk Marcus Mojigoh who is also Putatan UPKO division chief, at his house.

In the spirit of CNY, Datuk Marcus organised the gathering to promote camaraderie and unity among UPKO leaders.

"During the event, Marcus emphasised the importance of supporting Datuk Ewon's leadership with humility and advised against attacking political individuals, particularly those from the opposition camp," Carl stated.

Notable attendees included Treasurer General UPKO and KK Division Chief Dennison Indang, Kimanis Division Chief Joesey Limmy, Deputy Division Head for Putatan Mark Silak, KK Youth Chief Rizal Mahatin, and various party supporters.
