KENINGAU : Condolences and a contribution to the family of the deceased was carried out by the Assistant Minister of Public Works Sabah and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly for N.40 Bingkor, Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin.

He extended the condolence contribution to the family of the late Narion Jaffar, who passed away recently.

Representing Robert at the handover was Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @ Charles, Head of the Religious Bureau of Bingkor Constituency and Chairman of the Bingkor Community Welfare Association.

The contribution was handed over to Raisin Narion, son of the deceased, during a brief yet respectful visit.

Also present was Mohd Nizam Yahya, Mosque Coordination Officer of the District Office of the Sabah State Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAINS), Keningau District, who also conveyed his condolences and moral support to the bereaved family.

According to Yazid, this contribution is part of an ongoing initiative by the Bingkor constituency leadership to support the people, regardless of time or circumstance.

"This contribution is not merely financial assistance, but a symbol of respect, remembrance, and our presence with the people in times of both joy and sorrow," he said following the brief ceremony.

This gesture reflects the values of people-centric leadership continuously practised by the Bingkor representative, in line with the commitment to remain close to the grassroots community.
