KOTA KINABALU: A new Covid-19 cluster has been detected involving a workplace infection in a palm oil plantation in Kinabatangan.
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said that the Sawit M1 cluster recorded a cumulative total of 38 positive cases.
“The index case is a 25-year-old woman who tested positive on Sept 11 in a private clinic after having symptoms since Sept 9.
“She was then brought to Sandakan quarantine centre for further treatments,” said Masidi in a statement today.
