PENAMPANG: A flood victim who experienced a minor stroke while cleaning his house post-flood received a visit and support from United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Deputy President, Datuk Donald Mojuntin, today.

Asin Yumpoh, the flood victim residing in Kampung Kodou Sugud, not only received moral encouragement but also financial assistance for his medical expenses.

Accompanied by Bryan M. Lojingon, Chief Liaison Officer of Penampang Parliament, and several officials from the Penampang Parliamentary Office, Donald expressed that this contribution aims to alleviate the challenges faced by Asin's family during this difficult time. He emphasized the importance of community leaders offering aid to those in need, particularly in times of crisis like this.

Following the recent flood that impacted Kampung Kodou Sugud and caused extensive property damage to residents, Asin suffered a minor heat stroke while participating in cleanup efforts. The heartfelt visit and donation from Donald were warmly received by Asin's family and the local community. Donald urged authorities and the community to collaborate in supporting flood victims and enhancing conditions in affected areas.

"I urge all to unite in restoring the affected regions and providing essential assistance to those affected by the flood," he concluded.
