EMCO IN FELDA UMAS, KALABAKAN EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 25

KOTA KINABALU: Enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in Felda Umas, Kalabakan will be extended from May 11-25.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun in a statement today said a total of 1,200 Covid-19 test samples have been conducted with 122 of them came back positive.

"It was reported that Covid-19 continues to spread among the residents of the campuses and some samples are still awaiting results," he said.

Masidi added that the implementation was decided after conducting a joint risk assessment with the MCO Technical Committee and on the advice of the Healthy Ministry.
