EMCO IN KAMPUNG TIMBANG DAYANG, KOTA BELUD ENDS TODAY

KOTA KINABALU: The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in Kampung Timnbang Dayang, Kota Belud has ended today (Jan 18).

Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Masidi Manjun said, on the advice of the Ministry of Health (MOH), a special session today agreed to end the EMCO in the village as scheduled.

"To date, the MOH has conducted 516 screening tests and out of the total, 53 Covid-19 positive cases have been recorded.

"The MOH also confirmed that the remaining active cases in this locality are under control.

"The last case was recorded on January 11 and there are no more pending samples," he told a press conference here, today.
