Ewon goes to Kg Penampang Proper to observe needs for development

PENAMPANG: Penampang MP Datuk Ewon Benedick yesterday went to Kg Penampang Proper, his birth village, here to see the kinds of development that are needed in the village.
During his visit, Ewon who is also the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister saw that the condition of the roads and drains as well as the absence of streetlights in the village require dire attention.
Besides that, he said there is also a need to repair or rebuild dilapidated community buildings in the village.
"I have taken note of all the villagers' requests, especially in terms of urgent infrastructure facilities, and I will try to do the best for my hometown," he said.
Also present was the ministry’s political secretary Carl Moosom and community leaders.
Additionally, Ewon also inspected several damaged roads and landslides in Kg. Tomui Kimoligan Inobong, Sacred Heart Church Inobong, Kg. and Liput Gantung Kimoligan. He also attended the Pacos program at Kg. Kivatu.
Ewon also attended the wedding of former Village Chief of Kg Kibunut Linus Lansama at the Penampang Cultural Centre.
