Ewon inspects preparation of 2022 International HPPK Convention

KUALA LUMPUR: Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Datuk Ewon Benedick today inspected the final preparation for the 2022 International Hawkers and Small Traders Day (HPPK) Convention which will be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) tomorrow (Dec 22).

Also there to accompany the minister were Chief Secretary of the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Ministry (KUSKOP) Dato’ Sri Suriani Ahmad, KUSKOP Deputy Chief Secretary Datuk Haji Zamri Salleh and other heads of agencies under the ministry.

The event will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The programme is scheduled to begin at 8am until 6pm.

Ewon said various interesting events have been arranged for the 2022 HPPK and among them are the presentation of Paper Works related to the 2030 National Entrepreneurship Policy (DKN2030), the presentation of the 2023-2027 Development Plan for Hawkers and Small Traders (P3PK) 2023-2027 and the Bicara Cakna Bantu Peniaga Kecil programme.

He hopes that these could give and build motivations among the traders, in addition to taking proper notice to switch to medium entrepreneurs in the future.
