HOUSEWIFE GETS NEW PPRT HOUSE THANKS TO EWON’S EFFORT

KOTA BELUD: Lilyana Alin, 42, from Kampung Tambulion and her family can now heave a sigh of relief after getting their own house through the Hardcore Poor Housing Programme (PPRT).

The housewife said that she is very grateful that she can now move out from her parents' house and have her own, all thanks to the effort made by Kadamaian Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick in helping her.

“I had been applying for a PPRT house for ages but my application was rejected.

“My family and I had to stay at our parents' house because we did not have our own house. I am just a housewife and my husband sells oil in the village to support the family,” said the mother of three.

The construction of Lilyana's PPRT house has started last year and has fully completed at the end of last year.

Yesterday, Ewon visited Lilyana's new house in Kampung Tambulion, Kadamaian, yesterday.

During the visit, he also donated some kitchen necessities for the family.

"I am happy to be able to help families in need. We will continue to work to assist the people in Kadamaian because this is my responsibility as the people's representative for this area," he said.

Lilyana's family will soon move in, right after the installation of the electricity meter.
