KOTA KINABALU: The Kadamaian Assembly Service Center continues to receive donations from philanthropic companies and individuals to be distributed to the constituents in need.
Among the donators are Kim Teck Cheong Company as well as two philanthropists, namely Mr. Vitalis and Mr. Hayden who presented 50 cartons of Dugro milk, 75 cartons of instant noodles and 100 trays of eggs.
Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick who was there to receive the donations expressed his gratitude to all the philanthropists for their generosity towards the Kadamaian people.
“All the donations are collected at the Kadamaian Assembly Service Office before being distributed to the villagers in need.
"We hope this contribution can help ease the burden of families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those who are placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO)," he said.
Yesterday, the centre had also received 100 boxes of food from Walnut Bakery and Ecopia. All food aid will be distributed to the people in the area.
