MCO IN NABAWAN ENDS ON MARCH 30

KOTA KINABALU: The movement control order (MCO) in the Nabawan district will be lifted on March 30 as scheduled.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said the Ministry of Health (MoH) has confirmed that the balance of positive cases in the district showed a downward trend.

"The cluster is also under control and the last case which was a single case was reported on March 26.

Having made a risk assessment with various agencies in the MCO Technical Committee and on the advice of MOH, the State Government has agreed to lift the MCO

in Nabawan on March 30 as scheduled," he said in a statement today.

Nabawan was placed under since March 3 due to a drastic spike in Covid-19 cases.
