KOTA BELUD: Kadamaian Assembly Service Centre has received some 100 boxes of food aid from Walnut Bakery and Ecopia to be distributed to those who are in need as well as church leaders in the constituency.

Walnut Bakery manager Engelbert Masabal said he hoped the donation would help ease the burden of families especially those who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The food aid will be distributed to affected families as well as church leaders in Kadamaian," he said when met by Nabalu News, here, today.

Engelbert said, besides Kadamaian they have also contributed similar donations to other areas.

Previously, Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick had presented donations to 50 families who are currently undergoing Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in Kampung Pinolobuh.

"We will continue the programme to provide food basket assistance to the villagers in Kadamaian, especially those who are in dire need of help," he said
