KOTA KINABALU: Ramadan baazar activities will not be held in Sabah this year for fear of threat posed by Covid-19.
In a statement today, Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Masidi Manjun said Covid-19 situation in Sabah is still fluctuating.
"There have been several Covid-19 clusters in Sabah which were caused by social gatherings and low compliance of standard operating procedure (SOP).
"Hence, the state government has decided to not allow Ramadan bazaars in Sabah this year."
