Penampang Parliament to host Christmas celebration

PENAMPANG: The Penampang Parliament Service Centre will host a festive Christmas celebration on December 28, running from 8.30am to 2:00pm.

The event will be officiated by Datuk Ewon Benedick, the Member of Parliament for Penampang and Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDC).

Recipients can look forward to a heartfelt presentation of spectacles to representatives from three schools in the Penampang district. These schools include SKM Datuk Peter Mojuntin, SMK Limbanak and SK Babagon. Eleven representatives will be coming forward to receive the contribution.

In addition to this meaningful gesture, attendees will be entertained by a variety of stage performances and other engaging activities. The celebration will feature a special appearance by Santa Claus and Santa Rina, adding a magical touch to the festivities.

Prominent guests include Datuk Donald P. Mojuntin, the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Penampang Division chief and Chairman of the Christmas Open House Event; Jannie Lasimbang, the N.25 Kapayan Assemblywoman and Chairman of the Rural Development Corporation or Cooperative Development Agency (KPD); and Joseph Alex Chang, the Head of the PKR Penampang Branch and Chairman of the Queen Hospital Visitors Board (ALPH).

The general public are welcomed to join the event.
