RAYA HOUSE VISITS ALLOWED WITH 10 FAMILY MEMBERS FROM SAME DISTRICT - MASIDI

KOTA KINABALU: Family members in the same district can visit each other during the first to the third day of Hari Raya with not exceeding 10 people in a house.


Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun announced the latest standard operating procedure (SOPs) for Hari Raya in the state today which will take effect this Wednesday until June 7.



He said visits are based on the capacity of the house and is only allowed from 9am to 9pm, with a maximum of two hours for each group of 10 people.


"The house owner must also provide a MySejahtera QR Code and follow the public health protocols as set previously," he said.


Meanwhile, Masidi stated that tourism activities are only allowed within districts from May 12-16, and will be reverted in zone level from May 17 to June 7.


"Social activities such as kenduri, wedding or engagement receptions, religious ceremonies, as well as dinner and birthday celebration are still not allowed from May 12 to June 7.


"Face-to-face seminars, conferences and meetings are also not allowed," he added.
