RM31.58 MILLION ALLOCATED, 315,000 MORE HOUSEHOLDS TO RECEIVE FOOD AID

KOTA KINABALU: A total of RM31.58 million allocation under the Bantuan Prihatin Covid-19 2.0 has been approved by the government and will benefit 315,000 households across Sabah.


Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Masidi Manjun said food baskets will continue to be distributed to targeted groups that are affected by the pandemic, including the B40 group.


"An allocation of RM31.58 million has been approved and it is expected that a total of 315,000 households will benefit from this allocation," he said in a statement here, yesterday.


Masidi added that the distribution has started on Jan 26 in all districts and is being conducted gradually.
