Successful completion of early education sets children on path to higher learning

PENAMPANG: Four Hundred and fifty-Four children from TABIKA and TASKA KEMAS in the Penampang District celebrated their achievement in completing their early education, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.


The children from 36 schools received their certificates from Carl Mosoom the Political Secretary to Datuk Ewon Benedick the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative.


During the event held at KDCA here today, Carl represented the Minister and delivered his speech.


In his speech, Ewon stated that this accomplishment serves as a crucial foundation for their future academic pursuits.


Ewon, who is also the Penampang Member of Parliament stated that the success of children in completing their early education is a starting point in preparing them for higher learning.

"Early childhood education is aimed at producing well-rounded individuals in terms of physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects, in line with the National Education Philosophy," he shared.


The comprehensive curriculum at KEMAS adheres to the National Standard Preschool Curriculum, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience for the students.


He also mentioned that one of the key factors contributing to the success of early education at KEMAS is the dedicated and qualified educators.


These educators possess the required qualifications, having obtained the Malaysian Diploma in Early Childhood Education from esteemed teacher training institutes across the country, he said.


Their expertise and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the young children and preparing them for future academic endeavours.


The completion of early education not only signifies academic achievement but also highlights the incredible efforts and support provided by parents throughout their children's schooling.


Parents have played an essential role in motivating and guiding their children, making this milestone possible, according to Ewon who is also the Kadamaian State Assemblyman.


Carl said the Minister is very committed towards enhancing education and according schools and students assistance to ensure conducive learning environment.


Also present during the events were Penampang KEMAS Officer Lendiana Chia and Isidore Lajawah Tadika/Tabika Kemas Chairman as well as parents and teachers.
