KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly 2,000 participants from diverse backgrounds gathered at Padang Merbok on Sunday for the AmMetLife Cultural Run 2025, a vibrant celebration of Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage through fitness, fun, and community spirit.
Organised by AmMetLife Insurance Berhad ("AmMetLife"), the event saw participants don colourful traditional attire and embrace Malaysia’s cultural diversity while promoting an active lifestyle — one step at a time. The scenic 5km route through Kuala Lumpur’s city centre was alive with energy, as families, community groups, AmMetLife employees, and members of special needs groups united in celebrating health, unity, and resilience.
CEO of AmMetLife, Rangam Bir, remarked, "The AmMetLife Cultural Run embodies our core values — fostering unity and wellness. The morning commenced at 7:00am with a dynamic One Malaysia Drum Symphony performance, followed by an energetic Zumba warm-up that set the tone for the day.
