KENINGAU : The long-awaited restoration of Bukit Penindukan Road in Kampung Agudon has been completed, bringing much-needed relief to local residents who have long endured disruptions due to severe weather-related damage.
The once-deteriorated road, rendered nearly impassable by prolonged heavy rainfall, has been fully repaired thanks to proactive intervention by Liawan State Assemblyman (ADUN) Datuk Annuar Ayub Aman, in coordination with the technical team from the Sub-District Development Coordinator’s Office (PPM UPPM).
Serving as a key route for the rural community, the road connects residents to farms, schools, and homes. Its poor condition had previously impeded daily activities and economic livelihood in the area.
“The repair works have been completed. I hope this brings lasting benefit to all users, particularly the people of Kampung Agudon and its surrounding areas,” said Annuar in a brief statement during a recent site visit.
The completion of the project is Annuar’s commitment to responsive, people-centred leadership. Residents say the effort demonstrates not only accountability but also his commitment towards his constituents.
