CM Pays Respects to the Late Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Moktar Radin

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor visited the remains of the late Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Moktar Radin at Idang Residence, Luyang, to pay his last respects on Friday.

He said the late leader had made immense contributions to the state, particularly to his constituency.

“As a long-time friend, I am deeply saddened and remember him especially during the period when he was unwell earlier."

“On behalf of my family and the state government, I extend my condolences to the family of the late Bung Moktar."

“May Allah SWT bless his soul and place him among the righteous and the faithful,” he told the media after paying his respects.

Bung Moktar, 66, who was also the State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Lamag, breathed his last at 1.46am today while receiving treatment at Gleneagles Hospital.
