Food Basket Contributed to Three Churches in Ulu Dusun

SANDAKAN: As a gesture of care and commitment to the community in Gum-Gum, Datuk Jaffari Waliam, former Appointed Assemblyman of Sabah and Supreme Council Member of PGRS, has presented food basket contributions to those in need.

The contribution programme involved three churches in the Ulu Dusun area, SIB Ulu Dusun Church, Anglican Church Ulu Dusun, and Roman Catholic Church Ulu Dusun.

A symbolic handover ceremony was held at SIB Ulu Dusun Church, during which a total of 114 food baskets were distributed to recipients.

In his speech, Datuk Jaffari expressed his concern for the welfare and well-being of the local community, particularly in the Gum-Gum area. He reaffirmed his continuous commitment to listening to and assisting the people, regardless of their background.

The initiative is hoped to ease the burden and bring joy to the recipients, while also fostering a spirit of care and unity within the community.
