KENINGAU: The family of the late Tina Dingkai has expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and support shown by their community and local leaders during their recent time of loss. Following the passing of their loved one, the family received a compassionate gesture of solidarity through a donation of food baskets and modest financial aid, aimed at easing their burden during this difficult period.
The support was handed over to Ustaz Jahudi @ Marwan Juman’s wife, who acted as the family’s representative, symbolising the community’s moral backing and collective strength in facing grief and hardship. This act of kindness has provided the family with reassurance and comfort, reminding them that they are not alone in their sorrow.
Speaking on behalf of the family, they shared their appreciation for the assistance, which was from Datuk Robert Tawik, Assistant Minister of Works for Sabah and State Assemblyman for Bingkor, noting that such gestures help to alleviate their difficulties and inspire resilience. They expressed hope that this support reflects a broader spirit of community care and solidarity, which sustains them through their mourning.
The family also extended their gratitude to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) chairman Said Siapan who represented Robert, whose swift and empathetic response demonstrates the true spirit of grassroots compassion. Their actions serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of caring for one another, especially in times of need.
In a world increasingly connected through digital means, their heartfelt appreciation highlights the enduring value of personal support and community cohesion, essential qualities that foster trust and mutual respect among neighbours and leaders alike.
