KENINGAU: A total of 103 women participated in the Green Explorance programme held at Channang Hill, Bandukan, Bingkor, on Saturday.
The event, organised by Datin Tengku Aini Ibrahim, wife of Dato’ Ishak Datuk Ayub, aimed to promote physical fitness, mental wellness, and teamwork among women.
Datin Tengku Aini said the initiative encouraged women to adopt a healthy lifestyle while building confidence and unity.
“Women are not only the backbone of their families but also the driving force of society. Through activities like this, we want them to realise that true strength comes from a healthy body and a happy heart,” she said.
After completing the hike, participants enjoyed breakfast at the foot of the hill before joining a 30-minute zumba session, which added to the lively atmosphere.
Certificates of participation were later presented by Datin Tengku Aini, who also served as Head of the Delegation, in appreciation of the participants’ enthusiasm and commitment.
The Green Explorance programme highlighted the importance of health and resilience, showcasing how women can support one another in achieving both personal and community well-being.
