2nd West Coast Taekwondo Youth and Open Taekwondo Championship 2024 conclude

KOTA BELUD: The 2nd West Coast Taekwondo Youth and Open Taekwondo Championship 2024 held at Botung Sports Complex here ended today.

The event held for four days from September 18 to 21, saw participations from 1,400 people as compared to 800 last year.

The youngest participants were four year olds and the oldest at 75 years. There were also participants in the physically impaired.The event aimed to discover new talents.

The closing ceremony was carried out by Kadamaian State Assemblyman office Chief Liaison Officer, Carlyle Lajimin who represented Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick.

Also present during the event was the President of Taekwondo Sabah, Francis Langkab who was also the Chairperson of the Organising Committee.

The next championship will be held in January 18 to 21, 2025 at Ranau Sports complex.
