Che Hor Khor Moral Uplifting Society 23rd Anniversary dinner to be officiated by KePKAS Minister

KOTA KINABALU: Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Christina Liew, will officiate at the 23rd Anniversary Celebration Dinner of the Che Hor Khor Moral Uplifting Society, Sabah.

During a courtesy call on Wednesday, a delegation from the Society, led by its President Wong Sound Sing, extended an invitation to the Minister to attend the event on 18 May at the Putera Theatre Ballroom, Bukit Padang.

Deputy President Datuk Frankie Liew, who also serves as the Organising Chairman, briefed the Minister on the Society’s progress over recent years.

The Minister remarked that the organisation has experienced steady growth throughout the past 23 years, supported by the local community.

“I hope the members will continue their noble mission of promoting moral upliftment and fostering good human values,” she stated.

Also present were Vice-Presidents Chris Chang, Raymond Lim, and C.P. Chong; English Secretary Kathleen Wong; General Affairs Officer Wong Chung Ming; Committee Member Ir. Tan Kok Jyh; and Member Datuk Simon Teoh.
