CM takes oath as Sabah State Assemblyman

KOTA KINABALU: The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, led the line-up of elected State Legislative Assembly members (ADUN) in taking their oath as representatives in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly on Thursday.


The ceremony was held before the Speaker of the Sabah State Assembly, Datuk Seri Panglima Kadzim M. Yahya.


Following Hajiji, the ceremony proceeded with the Deputy Chief Ministers and state cabinet ministers taking their oaths, followed by the Leader of the Opposition, the Assistant Ministers, and the remaining elected assembly members.


Also taking their oaths were six appointed assembly members, namely Datuk Mohamed Razali Razi, Datuk Abdul Kassim Razali, Datuk Caesar Mandela Malakun, Datuk Ir Chin Shu Ying, Datuk Roger Chin Ken Fong, and Puan Grace Lee Li Mei.


Meanwhile, the tabling of the Sabah State Budget 2026 by the State Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Friday).
