Concrete Road Brings Relief and Safety to Villagers

KENINGAU: Villagers in Bukit Lokuyon, Senagang Laut, are now enjoying safer and smoother journeys following the upgrading of a 150-metre stretch of road connecting their homes to nearby farms.

The road, which has been resurfaced with concrete, is already making a positive difference in the community by easing daily travel and enabling farmers to transport their produce more efficiently.

Liawan Assemblyman, Datuk Annuar Ayub Aman, said the project was carried out to directly improve the wellbeing of residents.

“The upgrading works have been completed. If resources allow, we hope to extend the road further so that accessibility will be even more comfortable and comprehensive,” he said.

Residents expressed their appreciation for the initiative, highlighting that the improved road not only makes travel easier but also provides greater safety, especially during the rainy season.
