Gebyar Nusantara 2.0 Celebrates Cultural and Creative Success in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR: Gebyar Nusantara 2.0, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur with the support of event partner Mata Hati Sdn Bhd, concluded on a high note after attracting nearly 20,000 visitors over its two-day festival on 6 and 7 December 2025 at Raintree Plaza, The Exchange TRX Kuala Lumpur.

This year's edition showcased a vibrant mix of Indonesian culinary favourites, modest fashion, batik, tenun textiles, animation, comics, digital games, and live stage performances. The theme “Flavours of Harmony: Discover Indonesia through Taste, Style, and Creativity” was brought to life through the participation of leading Indonesian and Malaysian SMEs and creative brands.

Visitors were also treated to appearances by Indonesian creative figures and artists who engaged directly with fans throughout the festival. Support from the health, banking, tourism, digital, and SME sectors further strengthened Gebyar Nusantara’s position as a key cultural and creative industry showcase for both nations.

With its strong turnout and impactful programming, Gebyar Nusantara 2.0 reinforces TRX Kuala Lumpur as an iconic venue for cultural exchange and regional creative collaboration. The festival is expected to return next year with expanded content and even greater scale.
