KENINGAU: The implementation of several essential development projects, designed to directly benefit the local community, was recently inspected to assess progress.

The inspection was carried out by Diana Basir, representing the Bingkor State Assemblyman office, during a working visit to Kampung Bandukan Baru. The purpose was to evaluate key sites, including completed concrete roads, residential areas, and public facilities set to serve the villagers.

These infrastructure initiatives are anticipated to improve comfort, enhance safety, and support the well-being of residents, aligning with broader rural development strategies.

Diana, accompanied by Mukim Tuntumulud Developer, Fredoline Tad Abin, and Community Development Supervisor for Bingkor, Mohd Zaki, visited the area to inspect progress.

Bingkor Assemblyman Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin

who is also the Assistant Minister of Works, had emphasised that rural development remains a priority for the government.

“Rural development is a crucial focus so that communities can enjoy comfortable and safe basic infrastructure. Every project reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring that rural Malaysians are not left behind in the country’s progress,” he stated.

He further noted that these projects not only elevate living standards for rural residents but also help bridge the development divide between urban and rural areas.

“Ongoing commitment to providing these vital amenities aims to enhance rakyat’s welfare and promote balanced, inclusive rural growth,” he concluded.

With improved infrastructure, residents of Kampung Bandukan Baru are expected to enjoy a safer, more efficient, and more prosperous daily life.
