KOTA KINABALU: Kim Teck Cheong (KTC), a Sabahan-owned company has donated 60 cartons of disposable diapers to assist families in need across the state.

The donation, consisting of 50 cartons for children and 10 cartons for adults, was handed over to the Women’s Wing of the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), led by Yvonne Yong Yit Phung, and will be distributed through its network.

Yvonne expressed deep gratitude, on behalf of all the beneficiaries, to KTC for their generosity and commitment to supporting the people of Sabah.

“We are very thankful for KTC's kindness. We hope this noble action will inspire other Sabahan companies to follow suit in the coming years,” she said.

Founded in the 1910s, KTC has transformed from a small retail business into a leader in the fast-moving consumer goods (CPG) industry, expanding its reach to Sarawak and Brunei.

Under the leadership of third-generation owner Datuk Dexter Lau, KTC is known for its innovation and commitment to corporate governance, demonstrating best practices among companies based in Sabah.
