New Appointment in Kupi-Kupi FM

KOTA KINABALU: Deedee Cassandra Dallius has been appointed by Kupi-Kupi FM Sabah as the station’s new presenter to host the popular morning segment, Morning Kinabalu.
Through this appointment, Deedee Cassandra Dallius replaces the previous host, Niz, and will be paired with Felix in the Morning Kinabalu segment, which airs from 6am to 10am, starting 5 January.
Lester Miol, Chief Executive Officer of Ooga X, stated that the recruitment of the new presenter is part of KupiKupi FM Sabah’s ongoing efforts to nurture new talent within the local radio broadcasting industry, particularly in Sabah.
He explained that Deedee Cassandra Dallius was chosen based on her talent, personality, and natural ability, which are believed to bring freshness and a new vibe to the morning segment.
“Deedee’s recruitment is to give new talent a chance to grow. She is genuinely talented, and we believe her presence will inject a fresh energy into KupiKupi FM’s loyal listeners,” he said.
He further clarified that KupiKupi FM Sabah remains committed to developing new presenters who are not only entertaining but also capable of building close connections with listeners through a relaxed approach rooted in local culture.
In addition to being a radio presenter, Deedee Cassandra Dallius is also Unduk Ngadau Ranau and achieved a proud milestone by being crowned Second Runner-Up at the 2022 Sabah State-level Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan pageant.
Meanwhile, the partnership between Felix and Deedee is seen as capable of bringing a new, more powerful, and entertaining vibe, in line with Morning Kinabalu’s identity of being close to the hearts of Sabah’s audience.
KupiKupi FM Sabah will also continue to feature its existing stable of presenters, including Velvet, Nera, Felix, Darel, and Boy Vanz, who remain the backbone of the station’s content.
With the slogan ‘Kita kita juga baini’, KupiKupi FM Sabah will continue to deliver fresh, local, and community-centric radio content that resonates deeply with the people of Sabah.
