KOTA KINABALU: A brand-new motorbike and more than 120 attractive prizes await lucky visitors at this year’s Malaysia Day Celebration at Padang Merdeka on 16 September.

The lucky draw, open to all participants, promises a wide variety of rewards. Prizes include bicycles, washing machines, smartphones, RM200 meal vouchers, RM500 grocery vouchers, and many other exciting items.

To make the celebration even more enjoyable, free Milo drinks, ice cream and balloons will also be distributed to the public, ensuring a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.

Datuk Seri Christina Liew, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment and Chairman of the State-level Malaysia Day Celebration Main Committee, said the lucky draw is designed to bring the community together in a spirit of unity and joy.

“This is a celebration by the people, for the people, and with the people. We want everyone to feel the joy of coming together as one big Malaysian family,” she said.

While the lucky draw is expected to be a major attraction, the celebration will also feature cultural performances, interactive exhibitions, and a spectacular fireworks display to close the evening.

Those wishing to take part in the lucky draw may register with the organisers during the event.
