KOTA KINABALU: The Head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis visited Singapore on September 11 to 13 celebrating Mass with the people in this region.

Sabahans were among the thousands who flocked to Singapore to see the Pope. They gathered to participate in a Mass celebrated by Pope Francis, joining countless others eager to see the leader of the Catholic Church.

Even a brief glimpse of the Pope on stage was enough for many, as the crowd was immense, with thousands sharing the same desire.

For many, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity they couldn't afford to miss. Some spent RM1,500 for a two-day stay in the island republic, while others extended their trips, spending up to RM5,000.

Despite the higher cost of Singapore's currency, the expense was worth it for attendees.

“The trip was invaluable; I may never get another chance to attend a Papal Mass,” remarked one individual who braved both the currency exchange and the crowds to see the Pope.
