KUALA LUMPUR: The Miss Universe Organisation (MUO) today announced a pioneering partnership with Zetrix, the Layer-1 public blockchain developed by Zetrix AI Berhad (formerly MY E.G. Services Berhad). Together, they are launching the official Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App — a historic milestone in the pageant’s 73-year legacy.

For the first time, fans worldwide will be able to cast their votes with complete confidence, thanks to blockchain’s secure and transparent technology. The app also features artificial intelligence (AI) companions inspired by Miss Universe contestants, offering fans an unprecedented immersive experience to connect with the women, their causes, and their cultures.

The launch event took place at W Kuala Lumpur and was attended by Raúl Rocha Cantú, President of MUO, and Dato’ Fadzli Shah, Co-Founder of Zetrix, who exchanged the partnership agreement. Guests were also introduced to the app’s features, which celebrate each vote and story in the lead-up to the 74th Miss Universe Competition and beyond.

The app will soon be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, offering fans a more interactive and immersive way to engage with the pageant than ever before.
