UMBW Dart Championship Christmas Edition 2024 Vol. 3 receives support from Ewon

KOTA BELUD: The UMBW Singgahmata Dart Club is set to host the Close UMBW Christmas Edition Championship Vol. 3 on December 27, 2024, at Rio Cafe, Kampung Singgahmata.

This tournament has become a much-anticipated community event celebrating the festive spirit of Christmas.

Clerence Somuil, the Community Development Officer represented Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick by presenting a contribution to club representative Dannyal Tira.

This contribution aims to assist with the expenses of organizing the tournament.

Prince Daymol, Chairperson of the UMBW Dart Club, stated that the championship has been held since 2022 and has become an annual event in celebration of Christmas.

He told Nabalu News, that this event serves not only as a platform for dart players to showcase their talents but also as a medium to strengthen ties within the community.

The event will also feature a potluck feast, involving not just participants but the entire Kampung Singgahmata community.

Through this approach, the UMBW Dart Club hopes to foster a warm and appreciative atmosphere among residents.

“Through this event, we can celebrate Christmas together while strengthening relationships among club members and the surrounding community,” added Prince.

He also expressed gratitude to Ewon for his ongoing support of the club's programs.

He described the financial assistance as a testament to the leader’s commitment to supporting social development activities and unity in Kadamaian.

“This contribution is very meaningful to us. It helps ensure the success of the tournament and demonstrates Ewon’s support for small initiatives that have a significant impact on the community,” he added.
