PENAMPANG: The vibrant spirit of unity among Sabah’s diverse cultures was on full display during the inaugural cultural activities at Sabah Fest 2025. Under the theme "Culture Unites Us," a one-kilometre Cultural Walk was held at Tropical Rainforest Ujana Park on Saturday, attracting participants from various ethnic backgrounds dressed in traditional costumes. The event forms part of the ongoing Sabah Fest 2025, which was officially launched recently by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Christina Liew.

Earlier that morning, participants also took part in an eight-kilometre fun run, passing some of Sabah’s most iconic landmarks, including the Sacred Heart Cathedral, State Mosque, Gurdwara Sahib Temple, and Peak Nam Toong Temple.

Organised by the Sabah Tourism Board (STB) and coordinated by Sri Pelancongan Sabah (SPS), the Cultural Walk was the first activity of its kind to be held at Tropical Rainforest Ujana Park. The event received support from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS).
