Unity Run 2025 Unites Form Six Students Across Sabah

KENINGAU: The Unity Run 6.0KM Sabah State Level 2025 brought together 335 Form Six students from 11 Form Six Centres (PTEM) representing five districts at the Keningau Sports Complex today.

Organised by PTEM SMK Gunsanad, the event aimed to promote unity, fitness and friendship among students, while encouraging a balanced lifestyle through sports participation.

Deputy Chairman of the Keningau District Council, Rafie Datuk Robert, who officiated the event, said the Unity Run served as a platform to unite students from diverse backgrounds and instil the values of teamwork and healthy living.

PTEM SMK Bingkor was named the Overall Champion, followed by PTEM SMK Sook and PTEM SMK Keningau.

The event also featured a singing performance by a duo from SMK Gunsanad, who recently won a state-level competition.

SMK Gunsanad Principal Haliman Narion said the programme encouraged students to stay active, disciplined and resilient, complementing their academic pursuits.

The Unity Run once again highlighted how sports can foster unity and camaraderie among students from across Sabah.
