PENAMPANG: Datuk Stephen Sampil, Deputy President of the Momogun National Congress and newly elected Vice President of the Kadazandusun Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) on its 31st anniversary.


He reflected on the many struggles the party has faced over the years, acknowledging that UPKO has endured numerous challenges, including political uncertainties and societal changes.


Despite these obstacles, the party has demonstrated remarkable resilience and perseverance, continually striving to serve the interests of the people.


He highlighted how UPKO has consistently worked to bring assistance and support to the community, especially through initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.


The party’s efforts in encouraging local entrepreneurs and creating opportunities have been instrumental in uplifting many families and fostering economic growth within the region.


Furthermore, he commended the leadership of UPKO’s President, Datuk Ewon Benedick, emphasising that under his guidance, the party remains steadfast in its mission to serve the people.


Stephen expressed confidence that with continued strong leadership, UPKO will sustain its positive impact and help build a brighter future for the community.
