Assistance helps ease burden of flood victim

KOTA BELUD: The Chairman of the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Lasau Podi, Japin Lungkiyu , delivered assistance to a local resident whose home was impacted by flooding.

This initiative is part of the efforts by the Community Development Leader Unit from the N11 Kadamaian Assemblyman’s Service Centre. Japin presented the contribution on behalf of the Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The recipient Sablan Abdullah, a Kampung Lasau Podi resident expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ewon who is also the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development (MEDC) for the timely support that his family truly appreciated.

This assistance reflects Ewon commitment to easing the hardships faced by those affected by the recent floods in the area. The Community Development Leader Unit continues to work diligently to provide necessary relief to the community during these challenging times.
