KENINGAU: 100 boxes of bottled mineral water were sent to residents of Kampung Tigot, affected by disruptions to their clean water.
The aid by Bingkor State Assemblyman (N.40), Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin was channelled through the Bingkor Constituency Emergency Response Team, in collaboration with the Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM) for N.40 Bingkor, and distributed to 20 household heads in the village.
The handover was carried out by Bingkor Community Development Leader (PPM), Junior Fred Vincent Marukau, on behalf of Datuk Robert, who also serves as Assistant Minister of Works for Sabah.

The assistance was much needed as the village’s well pump had broken down, leaving residents without access to clean water for several days. While the well water remains usable for bathing and cleaning, the donated bottled water is meant to meet daily drinking needs.
Robert expressed his appreciation to all parties involved, particularly the Emergency Response Team, UPPM Bingkor and Wiramuda STAR Sabah, who had worked together to support the effort.
He stressed that such initiatives not only help ease the burden of the people but also reflect the spirit of solidarity and care within the Bingkor community.
Also present to assist with the distribution were Wiramuda Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR Sabah) Deputy EXCO Chief, S. Raziddin Datuk Robert, along with other committee members.
