Compassionate visit to victims of natural disaster

TENOM: Several houses and shop premises were severely affected by strong winds on September 17.

The powerful wind even impacted the Tenom Police Station, as it swept through the entire Tenom District.

Junik Bajit, the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Tenom Division head, along with his colleagues Jenson Tamiu, Felix Pirus, and other committee members, visited homes that sustained significant damage from the storm.

During the visit, Junik provided essential supplies, including food, to the affected families, demonstrating the commitment and concern of these community leaders for their fellow residents.
