KOTA KINABALU: Likas Assemblyman Tan Lee Fatt and Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin together have joined hands to distribute donations around Kota Kinabalu area today.

The duo started their mission at 9.30am distributing calenders, facemask and bread to the public at Dah Yeh shoplot and Lorong Kenawai.

"I would like to express my gratitude towards Kim Teck Cheong for sponsoring 3,000 loaves of bread to the Likas constituency.

"While distributing the donations, we also spend time with the public, especially the Likas voters, and listen to their concerns," he said in a statement today.

"I would like to remind the public that the Covid-19 pandemic is far from over and we must abide to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) such wearing face mask, washing hands regularly and practice social distancing."

Besides that, Tan also urged the public to support local businesses to help them survive.

"Yesterday, I went to Jalan Pantai and Gaya Street to shop and support local businesses. I hope the public can do the same now that the numbers of foreign tourists have dwindled," he added.
