KUALA LUMPUR: Dr.stretch Malaysia, the country’s leading specialised assisted-stretching brand, is excited to announce its new partnership with national fencer Saif Nordin, one of Malaysia’s most promising young athletes and a representative of News Hub Asia (NHA). This collaboration aligns with Dr.stretch’s mission to make professional mobility, recovery, and performance care accessible to Malaysians of all ages and activity levels.

Research indicates that poor mobility and inadequate recovery practices are quietly becoming a national concern. According to the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), companies report up to 10.7 million lost working days annually due to sick leave. This highlights a significant opportunity to improve overall health and productivity. Many Malaysians are not moving enough or correctly, leading to preventable pain, stiffness, fatigue, and chronic discomfort, ultimately resulting in unnecessary days off work.

Dr.stretch aims to address these issues directly. By enhancing range of motion, alleviating physical strain, and encouraging proactive recovery, assisted stretching provides a practical solution for both athletes and everyday Malaysians, supporting performance while reducing avoidable work absences.

Saif Nordin, an emerging figure in Malaysian sports, exemplifies the discipline, precision, and physical intelligence at the heart of Dr.stretch’s philosophy. Fencing demands speed, accuracy, balance, and exceptional mobility, making Saif an ideal ambassador for the brand’s focus on long-term movement health.

"We are delighted to support Saif’s journey as an athlete," said Azri Khairudin, Area Manager at Dr.stretch Malaysia. "His dedication to excellence reflects our core belief: that mobility and proper recovery are fundamental for anyone aiming to reach their peak. In fencing, every movement must be swift, precise, and fluid, exactly what we strive to help our clients achieve."

"As a brand, our goal has always been to help people move better," Azri added. "The same techniques that assist elite athletes like Saif to improve flexibility, reduce injury risk, and perform at higher levels are equally beneficial for corporate professionals, students, active individuals, and those seeking relief from daily aches. Assisted stretching isn’t just for athletes; it’s for everyone."

For Saif, this partnership marks an important step in his development. "I’m honoured to collaborate with Dr.stretch Malaysia," he shared. "Mobility and recovery are crucial parts of my training routine. Working with the team helps me stay flexible, strengthen my movement patterns, and prepare confidently for competitions. Many athletes underestimate the importance of flexibility, but training smarter is just as vital as training harder. Proper mobility work should be a priority at every level."

To celebrate the partnership, Dr.stretch Malaysia hosted an official logo unveiling and photo session at their Sunway 163 Mall location in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, featuring Saif Nordin alongside Azri, who is also a qualified stretch trainer.

This collaboration reaffirms Dr.stretch Malaysia’s commitment to promoting better movement, athletic development, and community wellness. By working with public figures and athletes who champion mobility and longevity, the brand aims to inspire more Malaysians to take charge of their physical well-being.
