KDCA Women Sandakan invite Jetama Chairperson to launch council

SANDAKAN: The KDCA Women’s Council Sandakan Committee, led byValeria Linggok, paid a courtesy visit to Liau Fui Fui, Secretary to the Tanjung Papat Assemblyman and Chairperson of Jetama Water Sdn Bhd, at the Assemblywoman’s office on Saturday morning.

The visit aimed to introduce the newly formed committee members of the KDCA Women’s Council Sandakan and to formally invite Liau to officiate the launch of the council, scheduled for 11 October 2025 at 5.00 p.m. at the Sabah Hotel Ballroom.

The upcoming event will also feature a Workshop on Judging Techniques, Grooming, and Traditional Attire for the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan, which is expected to be attended by Datuk Tindarama Joanna Datuk Kitingan, Chairperson of the KDCA Central Women’s Council; Dr Mary Gambidau, Co-Chairperson of the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Sabah; and Tati Atitih Yati Robert, the reigning Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Sabah 2025.

The courtesy visit underscored the KDCA Women’s Council’s commitment to fostering collaboration and promoting cultural empowerment among women in Sandakan.
