KENINGAU: The 62nd Malaysia Day celebration held this morning at the forecourt of the Keningau Oath Stone Heritage Museum was filled with significance, attended by community leaders including the Keningau Chinese Community Chief (KMC), Kapitan Anthony Chong Kong Ming; Liawan Community Development Leader (PPM), Fred Toyong; and Deputy Coordinator for Keningau Parliamentary Constituency, Dato’ Mohd Ishak Datuk Ayub, together with several other local leaders and citizens who came together to express patriotism and unity in Sabah.

The Keningau Oath Stone continues to stand tall as a witness to the history of Malaysia’s formation, reminding the Federal Government of its pledge to safeguard Sabah’s rights and of the people’s solemn vow to remain loyal to the nation.

The stone is not merely a monument, but a binding symbol ensuring that the spirit of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) is preserved and respected.
