No 'wow' factor in 2022 Budget, says Chan

31 Oktober 2021 By Wartawan Nabu News KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin has remarked the 2022 National Budget as no 'wow' factor for Sabah and Sarawak. In his Facebook, he stated that Pakatan Harapan has outlined a few proposals for Sabah and Sarawak Special Measures in the 2022 Budget Strategic Document which was launched on Wednesday. However, he said the 2022 Budget which was tabled by Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul, did not take in all PH proposals. "For example, there is no whatsoever adjustment for the Sabah and Sarawak Special Grant. "Both are maintained at the figures during Barisan Nasional (BN's era), where Sabah got RM26.7 million, and Sarawak RM16 million. "It's a business as usual budget for Sabah and Sarawak. There is no Wow factor," said Chan who is also the Sabah DAP secretary.
